Already earmarked for a Hollywood remake (by Dreamworks no less), A Tale of Two Sisters was the third highest grossing film in Korea in 2003, and is finally receiving a UK DVD release on November 22nd from Tartan in a special 2-disc box-set which includes almost three hours of extra materials.
A Tale of Two Sisters is a claustrophobic psychological chiller that focuses on two sisters (Su-mi and Su-yeon) who return to their father and stepmother's house after spending some time in hosptial. But then strange things that start happening in the house. Is this their stepmother trying to torment them or is there something more sinister hiding in the shadows?
The DVDs come with heaps of extras including commentaries, deleted scenes, interviews with the cast and crew and (exclusive to this UK DVD release) an interview with the director Kim Jee-woon by Billy Chainsaw).

26th Apr 04 Itís not all bad of course. This is Tarantino, after all, and there are plenty of highlights. Action scenes are handled very well, (the fight between Black Mamba and Darryl Hannah in particular, is a poke in the eye to any who doubt that),
