Rumours, only rumours at the moment, but news in increasingly spreading around the Internet that Richard Rubenstein is fast-tracking a major big-budget remake of Day of the Dead in light of the recent success of his Dawn of the Dead remake.
Aintitcool.com picked up on the story first earlier this week, with a brief mention that Rubenstein was rushing the project into production.
No official confirmation or denial yet, but seeing as the Dawn remake exceeded expectations both commercially and artistically, don't bet against seeing a new bog-budget version of Day sometime soon.
