Well, the trailer links for the new Nicholas Cage movie Ghost Rider have been popping up all over the place online in the last few days, before promptly disappearing again, suggesting that it's not the final teaser trailer, but footage recently shown at Comic Con.
In fact Sony have recently released a statement announcing the reason why it was pulled:
"Ghost Rider only recently wrapped principal photography, and the footage that appeared [..] represents the earliest version of a character that has not been fully rendered. While we were pleased with the overwhelming enthusiasm the footage received at Comic Con, this special convention piece was never intended for release on the internet. A final look of Ghost Rider is a long way from being realized and we look forward to your feedback more than a year from now when the film makes it way to theaters."
Having said that, the trailer link we found today seems to show a pretty much finalised trailer that looks pretty damn good. To view the trailer (and you'd better be quick before it disappears again), visit www.moviewallpapers.net.
The film, set for a 2006 release is being directed by Mark Steven Johnson and stars Nicholas Cage, Eva Mendes, Wes Bentley (as a baddie), Jon Voigt Sam Elliot and Peter Fonda.
A motorcycle stuntman makes a deal with the devil in order to save his mentor from cancer. His end of the bargain is a little more than he expected, however, and he is possessed by a demon. Every night, he transforms into the Ghost Rider, a humanoid form with a flaming skull for a head, and goes out to wreak vengeance on the guilty.
