New trailer for Shyamalan's The Village
28th Apr 04
Touchstone Pictures have now released the new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's (Signs, The Sixth Sense) new film, The Village, due to open in US cinemas on July 30th.
The film has a great cast that includes Joaquin Phoenix, Sigourney Weaver, Adrien Brody, William Hurt, Brendan Gleeson and Bryce Dallas Howard, and is the story about an isolated village confronting the 'astonishing truth' that lies just outside its borders.
Set in 1897, the village of Covington, Pennsylvania has a population of 60, and is surrounded by woods inhabited by "mythical creatures". Yet when Lucius (Phoenix) decided to venture into the woods, the whole village becomes threatened.
Run. The truce is ending.
