Nucleus Films announce launch date and Spanish DVDs

 September 19th 2005 sees the launch of Nucleus Films, a new DVD label established by writer/film researcher Marc Morris and filmmaker Jake West (both FrightFest regulars) with the intention of creating a high quality collector's film label for lovers of cinema.
The first two DVD releases represent the cream of recent Spanish cinema - Manuel Gomez Pereira's Between Your Legs (aka Entre las piernas) and Miguel Bardem's The Ugliest Woman in the World (aka La mujer mas fea del mundo), both £14.99.
Starring Victoria Abril and Javier Bardem, Between Your Legs is an intense psychosexual thriller in the Hitchcock mould that spins a dark tale of sex addicts, blackmail and murder that concludes with an amazing twist. A real crowdpleaser, the film screened to great critical and audience acclaim at London's Frightfest Film Festival.
The Ugliest Woman in the World is an super-slick science-fiction thriller horror fairytale about a freakish woman who's stalking the Miss Spain beauty contestants - a stylish, clever and witty film highlighted by superlative special make-up effects.
