One of our all-time movie heroes here at eatmybrains is legendary stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen, so it was great to hear that although he may have now retired from directing feature films (he is 85 years old after all!), Ray is still active in the world of audio / visual entertainment.
The artist who worked on such classics as Clash of the Titans and The Valley of Gwangi has signed on as executive producer for an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum, directed by Marc Lougee.
