Tartan Films present Asia Extreme Season at the Prince Charles

Starting tomorrow at our favourite cinema (The Prince Charles in Leicester Square, London) is The Asia Extreme Season will be showing a whole host of classic and brand new Asian Extreme Cinema in association with Tartan Films and Tartan Video. Theatrical previews include Park Chan-Wook’s fantastic Lady Vengeance (Monday 6th Feb) and Fruit Chan’s quirky, award-winning Dumplings from Hong Kong (Monday 13th March)
Also showing are the eagerly-awaited, Oscar-nominated Blood & Bones, directed by Yoichi Sai, plus the gruesome spectacle Blood Rain, directed by Kim Dae-seung, which closes the season on the 8th May.
DVD exclusive screenings, (films never seen before on the big screen) include two titles from the Pang Brothers (makers of The Eye) – the neat comedy thriller Leave Me Alone, (27th March) and the supernatural chiller Omen (3rd April).
There’s also two features from Korean director Byeong-ki Ahn, (The Phone) – slasher flick Nightmare, AKA Gawl (1st May) and high-school horror Bunshinsaba, AKA Ouija Board (24th April).
