YouTube host an uncensored look behind the scenes of Slither

One of the most-anticipated horror films of this year must surely be James Gunn's Slither, a loving homage to the b-movies of youre featuring lots of gore and a sly sense of humour.
We recently ran a news piece about the 'redband' trailer for the film (featured on the film's official website - click here to see it), but now news reaches us of an uncensored 'behind-the-scenes' featurette currently playing over at YouTube.
The sci-fi horror was written and directed by James Gunn and stars Michael (Henry) Rooker, Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks, Gregg Henry and Lloyd Kaufman.
Slither is set in the sleepy town of Wheelsy with its quaint and gentle atmosphere and friendly folk who mind their own business. But, wouldn’t you know, something unnamed and evil has arrived... and is growing.
It’s not long before lots of ‘Missing Pet’ posters begin appearing on the town’s telephone poles and local inhabitant Grant (Rooker) starts to act strangely.
Suspecting something’s up when farmers’ livestock appears horribly mutilated and a young woman goes missing, Sheriff Bill Pardy (Fillion) and Grant’s wife (Banks) begin investigating the dark forces laying siege to their town, and soon come face-to-face with an older-than-time organism intent on absorbing and devouring all life on Earth.
Slither is released in the UK and the US on March 31st 2006.
