Alright, yes, we know, we've been really, really slack reporting on this, but our old friend George A Romero (you may have heard of him, he's made a couple of good movies in his time) is making a new 'Dead' movie. Yes, Diary of the Dead is not only in production, they've actually started shooting too. The cast includes Joshua Close The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Michelle Morgan Alien Fire, Jon Dinicoi Weirdsville, Phillip Riccio, and Scott Wentworth, and the scale of the project is a little lower budget than last years Land of the Dead, so make of that what you will. Personally, I couldn't care less as long as George is still making movies.
All good zombie movies start with the 'disbelief' phase.
Time to stand around and look off screen.
Let's do that top button up...
Go on, tell her George.
With story elements loosely borroed from The Blair Witch Project mixed in with the long running "Dead" series, this new film follows a group of college students shooting a horror movie in some woods somewhere who stumble upon a real zombie outbreak. When the carnage begins, they seize the moment and capture the undead doing their thing, which of course causes more than the usual production nightmares.
