July 2nd sees the release of Fragile on DVD starring Calista Flockhart (read our review here), and to celebrate, Lions Gate have given us a great competition in which one lucky winner will take away a digitial camera! In addition to this, 3 runners-up will receive a copy of Fragile on DVD.
All you need to do to enter is to email us at EMB with your name, address and the words FRAGILE DVD in the subject line.
The competition will close on July 9th, and we will select the four winners at random. Due to the film's certificate and international DVD laws, we can only accept entries from people over 15 who live in the UK.
When young patients at a rundown children’s hospital in a remote location start experiencing inexplicable injuries, triggered by what the children describe to be the “Mechanical Girl”, no one seems to believe them until the new night shift nurse Amy (Calista Flockhart) arrives.
Replacing a nurse who left mysteriously, Amy finds the children have been the victims of a number of bizarre attacks, all taking place during the children’s sleep, whereby their bones have been broken whilst they lay in their beds.
Unable to get any answers from the resident doctors and nurses, Amy starts her own investigation and after befriending one of the children – Maggie - discovers that this young patient has apparently found a way of communicating with the “Mechanical Girl – Charlotte” who haunts the abandoned floor above, which has been closed for forty years.
Soon the frenzied assaults become more frequent and it's time to get the children out of the hospital. But "Charlotte" doesn't want them to leave. To save them all, Amy may have to confront the despicable figure lurking on the floor above them...
