Join the Zombie Walk World Record attempt for The Zombie Diaries on August 27th
16th Jul 07
Yes, it's now 100% official - eatmybrains.com will be doing their bit to help London reclaim the World Record for the biggest Zombie Walk, currently standing at 894 people (zombies) for a charity gathering at the Monroeville Mall in Pittsburgh last year.
The event is being co-organised by Revolver Entertainment and Film4 FrightFest to celebrate both the DVD release and the premiere cinema screening of the new UK zombie film, The Zombie Diaries. Now as you all know, we've been following this one for a while, starting right back in October 2005 (see our first news article here) all the way through to Jim's review of the film which you can read here.
We're genuinely excited about both the event and the film's release (think Blair Witch meets 28 Days Later), and have not only teamed up with Film4 Frightfest and Revolver, but also the great guys over at www.fleshmob.co.uk and www.terror4fun.com are coming on board to lend an undead hand too.
So why not join us on August 27 at 10.30am as we go all out "braaiinns!" to beat the World Record.
Full details are still being finalised (although it will probably be a 9.30am gathering in London's Leicester Square, before a short walk around Picadilly and a 10.30 head count outside the Odeon Leicester Square directly before the film's FrightFest screening at 11am), so keep coming back to eatmybrains for more news on guests, freebies and other cool zombie news.
