Winners of our Wrong Turn 2 competition

10th Jan 08

Winners of our Wrong Turn 2 competition A big thanks to all of you who entered our recent competition to win one of three copies of Wrong Turn 2 on DVD. We had well over 1000 entries for this competition, which means there must be lots of you out there who were great fans of the original.

Well, without further ado, we have now drawn the three winners from the EMB baseball cap, and they are;

David Smith
Erica Price
Michael Montgomery

Congratulations to the three of you, we will be in touch shortly for your postal addresses to send you the DVDs.

If you didn't win this time, then why not enter our current competition where you can win one of three copies of Disturbia on DVD.

Previewing at this year's FrightFest event back in August, Joe Lynch's Wrong Turn 2 is great 'straight-to-dvd' fun, with lashings of red stuff, lots of pretty actresses peeling of their personals and a tour de farce central performance from Henry Rollins as a former marine turned reality TV presenter.

More Information

The ultimate reality show turns into the ultimate horror show for six contestants when they find themselves pitted against hideously deformed and insatiably hungry cannibals in this white knuckle thrill-ride.

Directed by Joe Lynch, The Extreme Edition of Wrong Turn 2: Dead End is released to buy and rent on DVD on 7 January 2008 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (RRP: £19.99).

Six contestants are thrown together for six days in a simulated post-apocalyptic wasteland due to their participation in a reality TV show hosted by former marine Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins), in which the winner will walk away with $100,000.

Located in a remote part of West Virginia, the contestants soon discover that what they are really fighting for is their survival – against a family of inbred cannibals who plan to ruthlessly butcher them all… who will survive?

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End features Erica Leerhsen (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Texas Battle (Final Destination 3), Aleksa Palladino (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead), Daniella Alonso (The Hills Have Eyes II) and Kimberly Caldwell (American Idol).

Special features:
- Commentary by director Joe Lynch and actors Erica Leerhsen and Henry Rollins
- Commentary by writers Turi Meyer and Al Septien
- More Blood, More Guts: The Making Of Wrong Turn 2 (9 mins 26 secs)
- Making Gore Look Good Featurette (11 mins 30 secs)
- On Location With P-Nut (4 mins)

The big question though is, just how bad is it? Are we talking about a good/bad gore classic like Zombi 3 or Nightmare City?
