Win tickets to the world premiere of Neil Marshall's The Descent

12th Jun 05

Win tickets to the world premiere of Neil Marshall's The Descent Afraid of the Dark. You will be.

Especially if you get lucky in our fantastic competition to win a pair of tickets to the star-studded premiere of Neil Marshall's The Descent, thanks to the brilliant gang over at Pathe and the top team at FrightFest.

The Descent, Neil Marshall's long-awaited follow-up his remarkable debut Dog Soldiers, hits UK cinemas on July 8th, but Pathe have hooked up with FrightFest to host the world premiere of the film two days before its general release in the heart of London's West End on Wednesday, July 6th.

And you know what? You can be there too, rubbing shoulders and sharing popcorn with the stars, as we have 20 tickets (10 pairs) to give away for this oh-so-special event.

As well as attending the world premiere of this major horror event, you will also get the chance to meet stars Shauna MacDonald, Natalie Mendoza, Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder, Nora-Jane Noone and MyAnna Buring, the director and other crew members of The Descent at a 6.30pm drinks reception prior to the 7.30pm screening.

To enter, simply answer the question below and enter your name and email address. The competition will close on Sunday 26th June, and we will draw ten winners at random. Winners will be notified by e-mail the next day and tickets will be sent in time for the premiere.

You must be over 18 and be able to get yourself to and from Central London at your own expense.

The Descent: To bond together after a horrendous tragedy, an all-female potholing extreme team decide to tackle an uncharted cave system in the Appalachian Mountains. But the expedition soon goes frighteningly wrong when the six women encounter a cannibal race of devolved humans who relentlessly pursue them through nightmare underworld...

For more information, and to see a trailer for the film, visit the official website at www.thedescentthemovie.co.uk.

P.S. Please don’t apply for tickets unless you are actually going to come along. The organiser's want the event to be packed, as Neil Marshall has insisted that Pathe do this event as a thank you to the fans that helped make Dog Soldiers such a success, so don’t let him down.
