 Known in the US as Turistas, the latest film from John Stockwell finally reaches these shores on June 1st under the name of Paradise Lost, and to celebrate the release, Lionsgate UK have given us four sets fo goodie bags from the film to give away, including a T-shirt, a poster and an exclusive limited edition I-Pod skin.
Paradise Lost is a terrifying adventure thriller that follows a group of young tourists who while backpacking through Brazil discover an unsettling secret lurking deep within in its jungles. While backpacking through Brazil, a diverse group of young adventure travellers are marooned in a remote Brazilian beach town following a terrifying bus accident. The backpackers - Alex (JOSH DUHAMEL), his sister Bea (OLIVIA WILDE), her best friend Amy (BEAU GARRETT), an Australian named Pru (MELISSA GEORGE), and two best friend Brits named Finn and Liam (DESMOND ASKEW and MAX BROWN) - slowly discover that the white sand beaches and lush jungles are concealing a darker, unsettling secret, which lurks deep within in its jungles…
Beautifully shot, Paradise Lost is the first American production to shoot entirely in the country of Brazil. The action moves from the lush jungles and heavenly beaches of Ubatuba to the amazing underground and underwater caves near Lencois, which had never been filmed in before.
Paradise Lost is being released by Lionsgate UK and will be in UK cinemas on the 1st June!
