Toronto is the Land of the Dead

 Well, Romero has his chance to film his fourth Zombie film, but unfortunately for him it's not going to be shot in his beloved Pittsburgh.
Post Gazette have revealed that Land of the Dead (with a budget of $15-$20 million) will now definetly be filmed in Toronto, Canada.
Bernie Goldmann (president of Atmosphere Entertainment, said: "I can't tell you how disappointed I am, and George is incredibly disappointed. We all very much wanted to make the movie in Pittsburgh, but it came down to money, and going to Canada will save millions, with the exchange rate and a government tax rebate of $1.5 million to $2 million."
Lensing in Pittsburgh for perhaps a few pick-up or plate shots hasn't been ruled out, however.

Toronto was also the backdrop of Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake and Romero's last film, Bruiser.
