Channel 4's Banned series starts today

 God bless Channel 4, and their occasional series of Banned films, TV shows and advertisements.
They're at it again starting this week, with another great season of documentaries, interviews, programmes, clips and films that have never before been shown uncut on terrestrial TV.
The season starts tonight (Sunday 6th March) with X-Rated: The TV Shows They Tried to Ban and a rare TV screening of The Evil Dead and carries on through until March 17th with extreme films and programmes charting the history of censorship in the UK.
There will be a 4-part documentary called Banned in the UK (Monday 7th - Thursday 10th March), a look at banned advertisements (X-Rated: The Advertisements they Tried To Ban and (what respected banned season would be without the sex doc) X-Rated: The Sex Films They Tried To Ban. All programmes are simply unmissable if you are a horror film fan.
Films to be screened include Kids, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Eaten Alive (FilmFour only), Snuff (FilmFour only) and Bad Lieutenant.
