Amityville Horror website goes live

 The official website for MGM's upcoming Amityville Horror (released in the UK by 20th Century Fox on April 15th).
The site includes the latest trailer and features many animated menus that reveal facts about the real-life cases (the story of the Ronald DeFeo murders and the story of George Lutz and his family). There is also an interview with psychic Lorraine Warren, notes on the movie, video clips, a photo gallery and other stuff accompanied by sound FX and the classic Lalo Schifrin score from the 1979 film (wonder if The Incredibly Strange Film Band will feature it in their set next week - see earlier news for details.

The remake of the The Amityville Horror, is based on the Jay Anson book that purports that the residents of a tree-lined home in a Long Island suburb were terrorized by a haunted house. The home had been inhabited previously by a disturbed young man who murdered his family. The films stars Jimmy Bennett, Ryan Reynolds, Melissa George, Chloe Grace Moretz, Philip Baker Hall and Jesse James.
