 “Every town has its secrets.
Antonio Bay has its Nightmares.”
With the upcoming release of The Fog drifting ever closer, the new official website for the John Carpenter Exec-produced film has now appeared online at www.sonypictures.com.
The website actually looks pretty cool as it appears as the Visitor’s Centre of Antonio Bay where you can look around a tour guide for the Lighthouse, the Town Hall and some Boat Tours. If you explore further you will find the standard film synopsis, details of the film’s cast and crew, downloads and the trailer (which went down well when it was shown at the recent Frightfest event in London).
The film will be released in US cinemas on October 14th, although we here in the UK will have to wait until February 2006 to see the film (and no doubt the Region 1 DVD will probably be available by this time anyway). The Fog was directed by Rupert Stigmata Wainwright and stars Tom Welling, Maggie Grace and Selma Blair.

Synopsis: In the small town of Antonio Bay, a terrifying and malevolent force hidden within a thick and eerie fog terrorises its residents. Shrouded by the fog lies a ghastly secret of merciless revenge, one that the town's inhabitants would do well to unravel - before it's too late.
