More details of Park Chan-Wook's Cyborg Girl

 As reported on our earlier news item here, our current favourite Korean director is now moving his attentions ot his next film, now to be called Cyborg Girl.
Billed as a fantasy-tinged romantic comedy set in a mental asylum, Twitchfilm.net have discovered that the film has just cast one of it's leads, Kang Hye-Jung from Rules of Dating and Old Boy.
The male lead of the film has still yet to be cast, although negotiations are underway to cast Korean singer Rain, real name: Jung Ji-Hoon.
Park met with Rain's management JYP Entertainment last November, and started talking about the new film. A PR rep of JYP said: "We haven't received the script yet, so we can't really talk about his involvement in the film. Since the film will start shooting next Spring, as soon as we get the script we'll announce our decision as soon as possible."
It is expected that the film will begin shooting in April. We can't wait!

Synopsis: It's a time of war between the human race and machines, and she's the most powerful of them all. At least that's what the wild imagination of a young girl will make her believe. Living in a mental institute, she meets several strange people, but one boy catches her eye, and they eventually fall in love.
