Takeshi Miike's 'banned' Masters of Horror episode airs on Bravo this week

 Oh lucky us in the UK, because on Friday this week, Bravo will be screening Takeshi Miike’s banned and much-talked about Masters of Horror episode Imprint!
Withdrawn from playing on Showtime in the US, Imprint will be screened on Friday 7th April at 11.00pm as part of the Masters of Horror series, so make sure to set your videos, or call your friends with Sky or Cable right now.
Takeshi Miike, the director of such great films as Audition and Ichi The Killer was apparently unsurprised by the decision and was quoted as saying ”'I could not suppress the volume of terror that this film conveys”.

UPDATE: Since publishing this news article, we've heard that Anchor Bay have now decided to stop publishing the double disc DVDs for the Masters of Horror series, and instead are set to release a complete box set of all the shows some time in August. Here's the official statement as released on www.anchorbay.co.uk.
"We've analysed fan feedback over the last month on and off the forums and have decided on a different release strategy for the MoH Franchise. We will be commencing work on a box set for the entire series which will come out sometime in the Autumn, full details to be announced.
As a result of this, the doubles will no longer be released as previously planned. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause but we feel it is the best way forward for the series and the best way to give you, the fans, the best possible package and value for money. Full details of the box set will be revealed once they are finalized."
In other Masters of Horror news, the second Anchor Bay UK volume of DVDs has been announced as Mick Garris’ Chocolate along with Don Coscarelli’s Incident On and Off a Mountain Road, which will be available to buy from 15th May.
Written and directed by Mick Garris, Chocolate concerns Jamie (Henry Thomas), a newly divorced young man who creates artificial flavours for the food industry. Suddenly, he inexplicably starts to experience brief and random sensory flashes from someone –and somewhere – unknown: sights, sounds, smells and touch. Learning that he's experiencing life through the senses of a mysterious woman, he begins to fall in love with her – without having met her. Eventually, he discovers a horrifying secret that binds him inexorably with the perfect woman in an erotic, horrifying dance of death.
From Don Coscarelli, based on Joe Lansdale's short story and adapted by Stephen Romano, Incident On and Off a Mountain Road pits Ellen (Bree Turner), a seemingly defenseless young woman, against Moonface (John DeSantis), a deformed and demented serial killer. As the story cuts back and forth in time, we slowly discover that our heroine is not as helpless, nor as innocent as she initially seems. Trained by her abusive husband Bruce (Ethan Embry) to be a survivalist, she has been instructed to use any and every available object as a weapon in a time of need. Chained to the floor of Moonface's horrific cabin with his unsavoury roommate (Angus Scrimm), Ellen must marshal all her survival skills as she races against the clock to escape a grisly fate.
