UK trailer for The Hitcher remake

 Another month, another remake - this time The Hitcher, based on the 1986 original. The modern update has Sean Bean stepping into the boots of 'The Hitcher', a role which gave Rutger Hauer his second-most iconic character in his career following Roy Batty in Blade Runner
Released on April 6th, The Hitcher stars Sophia Bush as Jennifer Jason Leigh and Zachary Knighton as C. Thomas Howell, a couple who are stalked and tormented by a psycho thumb-raiser on their way to Spring Break.
Expect thrills, chills, fingers in dinners and a scene involving two trucks.

When Jim Halsey (Zachary Knighton) and Grace Andrews (Sophia Bush) reluctantly pick up John Ryder (Sean Bean) late one rainy night they immediately discover that their worst fears have come true - Ryder is a murderous psychopath. However, it's only after the young couple barely escape with their lives that the real trouble begins.
Ryder's gone on a killing spree, and he's framing them for the murders. Running from the police while chasing the true killer, Jim and Grace must live as both outlaws and vigilantes while trying to stop the slaughter and prove their own innocence.
