By now you can't have missed the hype on the new Fox Atomic sequel to their hit film 28 Days Later, which sounds like it's a lot better than many people expected it would be.
Their press release states: "The film picks up six months after the Rage virus has decimated the city of London. The U.S. Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city, when a carrier of the Rage virus enters London and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection, wreaking havoc on the entire population."
Directed by Spaniard Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, none of the original cast are involved but Andrew McDonald is still on board as producer, whereas Danny Boyle is given an executive producer credit (and he also turned up to shoot some second unit stuff when he got bored waiting for the CG effects to be completed on Sunshine).
And to get you in the mood, we've managed to get hold of an 'unofficial' (and very bloody) video short made on set during production.
There is, of course, an official selection of clips from the film on the www.foxatomic.com website (good luck finding them, the site's a bit of a mess) but this one has yet to be approved, so check out this cool exclusive clip below.
