Lucy Liu to Rise on DVD on January 28th

 Hands up all those of you who've been waiting to see Lucy Liu dressed in leather as a blood-thirsty vampire. Well, you don't need to wait too much longer as Universal release Rise: Blood Hunter on DVD (£19.99) and 'download to own' on January 28th.
A supernatural horror / thriller from the producers of The Grudge, Rise: Blood Hunter stars the sexy Lucy Liu as a blood-thirsty vampire hell-bent on revenge. Lucy plays Sadie Blake, an LA reporter, who whilst investigating a dark underground cult, ends up being its next innocent victim. Hell-bent on revenge Sadie embarks on a perilous mission of vengeance that takes her deep into a sinister world of blood and horror.
Featuring an all-star supporting cast including Michael Chiklis (The Fantastic Four), Carla Gugino (Sin City), Samarie Armstrong and Robert Forster (Jackie Brown) Rise: Blood Hunter takes you on a dark journey deep into a gory cult underworld run by a hoard of evil blood-thirsty vampires.
Sadie (Lucy Liu) gets more than she bargained for when her investigative reporting uncovers an evil vampire cult running rampant on the streets of LA. Falling prey to their blood-lust, she awakes in a morgue as a blood-thirsty vampire, consumed by an overwhelming craving for blood.
Horrified at becoming an unwilling member of the terrifying undead, Sadie vows revenge against the sect that put her there. Striving to fight off her own unwanted but overwhelming craving for blood, she prowls the dark streets, armed with a vicious cross-bow, hell-bent on slaying the twisted vampires that made her into this nightmare creature of the night.
